Show #5 – Friendly Hurricanes

Hello everyone!  So begins our attempts to have a main show every Sunday, and a random shorter show sometime during the weekdays.  Obviously we understand the need of the people to be satisfied with instant gratification, so here ya go.  I hope you are happy as I type my fingers to the bone.  Expect new random guests, interviews with local artists/musicians, and other nonsense on these shorter (but almost listenable) shows.

David and Brian join along with a good friend Hurricane James (even though he did not get anywhere close to becoming Hurricane James).  Next time I will have to get that kid to stay off of his damn phone and pay attention…but anyways, some things we discussed this time around: Hurricane James’ conflicting nicknames – Shitty beer – Ramp tramps/skateboarding – Friendly Hurricanes/Category status – Arnold Day – The Life of Pablo – Rebel flag tint – Three 6 Mafia – Dave’s Lego hair – Mother’s home cooking – Stand up comedy at music festivals.

Again, thanks to everyone for checking out the show and downloading.  Subscribe on iTunes and give us a 5-star rating while you are at it.  Make sure to share with your friends if you enjoy what you hear, we gladly appreciate it!  As always, feedback is a must to help us evolve.  Send us any comments (no kid gloves) regarding what you think could help the show.  Give our Facebook page a like, follow the Twitter at @SteezyTrapHouse, and on Instagram at @steezystraphouse.  Keep on listening, we might get better.  Much peace and love!

Show #4 – Scotch Salad

IMG_5015

Hello again people of the world! Fourth week of doing the show, and I must say we have some big things planned ahead of us.  Not really actually, but we do plan on working out the kinks of audio (as you will hear in this episode), and having more content during the week as well.  We would like to please you insatiable humans with a shorter show during the week for a quick check in.  Hopefully we will be able to start this week? Who knows.  I am posting this the day after recording because I was so tired last night, so it is anyone’s guess when we will actually get to the weekday shows.

This week we have on David and Brian as usual, and my good friend Clarence Beaks from 91.5 WPRK’s “The Crop Report,” which you can listen to every Friday from 10 AM – 12 PM.  Finally, someone with radio experience!  We discuss: Weight challenge – My lack of proper segways – David Blaine – David’s roommate problems continue – Knocking over motorcycles – Scotchy scotchy scotch – 1st episode deliberation – Music festivals – The Wiggles/Fruit Salad

Show #3 – Salty Mules

What up, what up everyone?! This is Show #3, and we thank all of you for continuing to ride along with us for this expenditure into audio.  We keep learning, you guys keep giving feedback, and the whole thing revolves wonderfully.  I am drunk as hell as I write this; I figure full on honesty is better than nonsense.  Transparency is the key!  Hence, the name of the show.  David and Brian are our usual sit-ins for the show this week, and we welcome my girlfriend, Tatiana, to the foray.  Sadly for her, she had to listen us to rant about many things I am quite sure she did not want any part of.  Oh well.

On to the things we discussed during this show!  First off, we introduce the weight challenge between our resident fat pieces of shit, David and Brian.  I had my first sensory deprivation chamber session, which was AWESOME!!!!  We discuss the possibility of having to do 19 hour shifts, and whether strippers should touch you or not while in the club.  We also touch on girls that wear the color peach, good looking athletes, and the unholy phenomenon that is carpet drops.  Thornton Park is also the hood incognito (if you didn’t already know), and Dave’s prostate is failing considerably day by day (insert Jesus Broadway music here).

That being said, please download off of the website.  Subscribe on iTunes and give us a 5-star review as well while you are at it!  You can keep up to date with the show on the Steezy’s Trap House Facebook page, or on the Twitter at @SteezyTrapHouse.  We are also featured on our affiliate page for Central Florida podcasts, #PodcastMafia, where you can find our updates and many other great local shows with awesome entertainment.  Share with your friends and we will see you next week!

Much peace and love,

Steezy

Show #2 – Watermelon Burps

Hello helloooo! Thanks for checking out the show, this happens to be the second episode of our foray into the podcasting world.  A lot of good feedback was given after the first episode, and we appreciate everyone who hit us up.  Keep the feedback coming, there is always room for improvement.

Sappy shit aside, let us move on to this week’s show.  David and Brian both return by popular demand (not mine), along with our good friend, Stan.  We discuss a certain extract that we just so happened to turn up in our possession.  Brian updates us on the dogs he is looking after, and how the Tool show was an unbelievable dude fest.  David finds himself on a tangent regarding male genitalia, ranging everywhere from retrograde ejaculation to frozen ice condoms.  The extract cast a certain “haze” upon us, and the general mood relaxes considerably before we close out.

I got the song in by the way!  I will be Anyways, sorry I am all over the place as I write this.  Craziness has been going on, there is a lot more to put into this than originally expected!  Eh, not too worried though.  Thanks again for checking out the show, make sure to download/subscribe.  Updates on the show can be found on Twitter under the handle @SteezTrapShow, or on Facebook under the name of the show.  Share with a friend if you enjoyed what you heard, and keep listening!

Show #1 – It Can Only Get Worse…

Welcome to the shittiest webpage around!  As this is the beginning of the show (and I still admittedly have no clue what I am doing), this site will continue to look this terrible for some time.  Bear with me as I figure out slowly day by day how to make my own page and make things look cleaner and more professional (yeah right).

So you might be wondering, what is Steezy’s Trap House about?  Besides being terribly named, it will simply be a round table discussion (hopefully multiple times a week) hitting on any kind of subject matter.  The idea is to have at least one different guest in for every episode, thereby keeping opinions fresh so you won’t have to listen to just mine.  The show will evolve naturally as we continue on, and I am looking forward to the growth in the future.

This first episode (which is not actually the first episode) was recorded after we discovered some things might have been said the first time around that did not sit comfortably with certain parties.  No biggie at all, we simply tried to redo it the best we could.  We had our own qualms about the situation, but in order to move forward we have to forget the shit in the past.  If we seem to be preoccupied, it is most likely because we have the first episode on the forefront of our minds.

In this episode I am joined by my friends David and Brian (also known as Dr. Uncle and Party Girl) to kick off the show.  We talk about our overall unpreparedness for the show, including how I am in possession of an intro song and have no idea how to include it in (I know I can put the song in post edit, just waayy to lazy to care).  We discuss Brian having to watch his neighbor’s dogs and his impending midlife crisis, and how David is coming to terms with the fact that he is not far behind.  David’s new roommate gets brought up, and we continue to warn our listeners that it will not get any better.  Mavis Beacon and everyone’s dry spells make a quick appearance until David’s negative energy about the show takes over all.

In all seriousness, we are learning quickly that this is a learning process.  Shit ain’t too bad though, so no need to worry.  We will figure it out as we go along and maybe prepare before a show.  Or not.  Please feel free to share with your friends, look us up on iTunes (once we get approved), download/subscribe, and delete right after if you want.

Much peace and love,

Steezy
